University Supporters

We are delighted to have this opportunity to express our sincere thanks to the Supporters of the University of Wales, Newport and to welcome all new visitors who are interested in the development of ongoing and beneficial relationships, collaborative partnerships and Gifting to the University.

You can help us to inspire the next generation of students so that Wales and the UK can benefit from their learning and their success.

Supporting the University can be done in a number of different ways.  We would be delighted to discuss any of these options and opportunities with you.

Sponsorship

A new range of Sponsorship packages are being launched to offer an alternative way for local and national businesses to benefit from the fantastic opportunities offered by working with award winning students and innovative projects.  Aligning your organisation to the University, either through Corporate Patronage or Sponsorship brings multiple benefits and a channel through which to promote your brand to an extensive network of both private and public sector organisations and individuals.

In Kind Support

There are many occasions when an organisation has expertise, equipment and facilities that they may wish to share with the University, either to support a collaborative project or as a donation to a particular School/Department.  Support can be personal/professional time given by an expert consultant working with the students as either a lecturer or adviser on a project.  Please visit the In Kind Support web page for more information.

Corporate Donations

There are many opportunities to support the students through the provision of prizes and awards which can be used to celebrate achievement, improve motivation and increase commitment.  These donations can be in the form of gifts, vouchers and cash awards.

Gifting

Gifting to the University through donations to the Annual Fund or by Pledging a Legacy can have a lasting impact and we are extremely grateful to our existing Benefactors for their generosity.

We are not alone in recognising the impact donations make to an Educational Establishment.  The Higher Education Funding Council for Wales has followed the English lead to provide match funding for three years (2009 – 2011) to double the donations made by individuals, thus increasing the value of even the smallest gift.
