Learning and Teaching Grants are intended to promote academic practice and scholarship in learning and teaching, by providing financial support and guidance on topical projects relevant to the development of the University's
learning and teaching strategy.
Case study and research outcomes are expected to be disseminated widely via peer-reviewed journals, books, conference presentations (internal and external), workshops and other events. In many cases, this should lead on to applications for external funding and/or the development of collaborative projects.
The scheme is open to academic and non-academic staff of the University, and staff from Collaborative Partner Institutions are encouraged to submit joint applications with colleagues at Newport.
Calls for applications are issued at a number of times through the year and applicants should follow the published guidance.
