3VTV is a local television channel for Blaenau Gwent. It is run by The Micro-Broadcasting Centre, a University of Wales, Newport project funded by the Welsh Government. The channel is due to launch in early 2012 and will be broadcast via the internet.
3VTV is the ideal way for local businesses to connect with the people on their doorstep, as well as being part of an exciting new project to benefit the Blaenau Gwent community.
The channel shows short films and programmes about and of interest to local people, made by our own in-house film-makers, students from the University’s Film School and by the community themselves.
Alongside this content are promotional films for companies in the county borough. The Micro-Broadcasting Centre’s team of professional film-makers are working with small to medium enterprises and entrepreneurs in Blaenau Gwent who have never before used video for marketing to give them a taste of what it can do to promote products and services and add value.
Our team makes interesting, entertaining and impactful films for the business, which will then be shown on 3VTV. Using the latest technology, money-off vouchers and other incentives can be incorporated into the promo shown on the channel.
Business owners will also be granted the right to use the promotional film on their own website.
