If you would like to become self-employed, go freelance or start your own business then Bright Ideas at the University of Wales, Newport can offer the help and support to get you going.

Whether you are an entrepreneurial student or have graduated from the University within the last five years, you will be able to access a range of internal and external services and resources for free.

Our range of support includes:

Global Entrepreneurship Week UK (14-18 November 2011)

Monthly Business Surgeries - one-to one advice

The Bright Ideas Den - Pitch for £1,000 to up-skill yourself or your idea

Fairwood Trust Start-up Scholarship - £5,000 to support you over the first six months of trading

Erasmus for Entrepreneurs - an opportunity to work alongside an experienced entrepreneur in another European Union country

Free workshops - including networking, pitching, marketing and finance

Access to Graduate business events
