CERTIFICATE OF HIGHER EDUCATION (COMBINED OPEN STUDIES) PROGRAMME [CERT HE COS]
This course examines the range of historical documents from 1550-1900, based upon the collections in the Gwent Archives and under the instruction of the Deputy Archivist (Tony Hopkins). Handwriting will be examined, as well as methods of transcription, types of documents, why they were produced and what they can tell us.
