Sarah Hand works with performance, projection and sound activated projections to generate her images. She is attached to the VisuoSonic workshop in Southampton University which is in turn supported by the university’s Centre for Research in Art, Design and Media.
KikiTVisuoSonic uses real-time sound-image interactivity to create immersive environments in which the art gallery, the concert hall, the theatre and the cinema converge into a ‘total’ performance space which explores the non-digital and digital inter-relating of sound and visuals. They employ performance, music and fashion and Sarah Hand works on one of the outcomes in photography - she teaches on the Fashion & Photography degree courses.
