The Wales International Study Centre is a unique facility offering programmes to help international students progress to a range of undergraduate and postgraduate degrees at the University of Wales, Newport and all the other universities across Wales.
Based on the Carleon campus, students benefit from a safe learning environment and small class sizes to equip them with the knowledge and skills needed to succeed in undergraduate and postgraduate study.
Our Programmes
The International Foundation Year
Undergraduate degree preparation with progression to a choice of degrees at all 11 universities in Wales. Students can choose between two subject routes:
• Business, Law and Social Studies
• Engineering and Science
International Diploma in Business, Management and Marketing
Intensive nine month programme for students who wish to study degrees in Business, Management and Marketing. On successful completion of the programme students are guaranteed fast track entry to the second year of a degree at the brand new School of Business at the University of Wales, Newport.
Pre-Masters Plus MBA or MSc Project Management
A combined course consisting of 6 months degree preparation at Wales International Study Centre followed by a postgraduate degree at the brand new School of Business at the University of Wales, Newport. Choose from:
