'In Your Hands' Photographic Workshops in Cairo

Liam Devlin has returned from Cairo where conducted a series of workshops entitled 'In Your Hands' that used Jacques Ranciere's book
The Emancipated Spectator (2009) to consider how to use of photography to alter the social fabric of the city. The workshops were organised by Dr Ronnie Close of the AUC and held at the Contemporary Image Collective (CIC). The workshops were so enjoyable that a Ranciere reading group has been established by the participants and further collaboration is now being planned.
