The University of Wales, Newport is strongly committed to collaborative partnerships and recognises that this as a very important aspect of the University’s forward strategy, as reflected in our Strategic Plan.
Our objectives for engaging in partnership activity are:
• To promote wider access to higher education (HE) through the delivery of franchise programmes, or promoting progression from further education (FE) to HE.
• To undertake this in a sustainable manner to meet the academic and financial needs of the University, its partners and students.
Partnership collaboration means that we are able to provide essential advice, guidance and opportunities to students considering HE across Wales, helping students to make the right choices for their future.
We currently work in partnership with the FE Colleges listed below. In addition to enjoying benefits at a local education institution, students are entitled to use any of the services and facilities at the University while studying University of Wales, Newport courses.
For information on courses available, please do not hesitate to contact your local college from the list, or our University information centre on Tel: (01633) 432432.
