Youth & Community Work (Initial Qualifying) Leading to MA Working for Children & Young People

Course Intro

This course is for you if you are a graduate from allied professions looking to gain a professional qualification in Youth Work. This professional Master’s programme meets the development needs of a growing statutory and voluntary social and education sector that embraces, for example, health workers, school teachers and school support workers, social workers and those in youth justice and criminal justice work.

On this course you will study 5 core modules and 1 option module.  You may then seek to exit with a PG Diploma, or remain on the programme to complete your dissertation or Internship and Critical report for an MA.

In addition, all modules are offered as stand-alone continuing professional development opportunities and you may wish to engage with one or more of the modules prior to, during or after the postgraduate programme delivery.
