Accommodation Costs 


Accommodation charges vary from year to year and depend upon the type of room allocated to you. In addition to the residential charge, students are requested to pay a £200 pre-payment which will be used against their final term’s accommodation fees.

The Licence period includes the Christmas and Easter vacations and runs from 14th September 2013 to 14th June 2014. You will be required to sign a contract for 39 weeks. This contract is legally binding and you will be expected to maintain payments for the duration. Students are not entitled to any refund other than withdrawal from academic studies at the University or if a suitable replacement has been found for the room.

2013/14 Fees

En suite - single, 39 weeks @ £92.20 = annual cost £3,595.80
Standard - single, 39 weeks @ £79.80 = annual cost £3112.20
Standard – temporary share, 39 weeks @ £47.88 = annual cost £1867.32

The Resident will pay the Licence Fee applicable to the accommodation to which he/she is allocated by one of the following methods:
• 3 termly instalments by cash, cheque, debit or credit card.
• 3 termly instalments by Western Union (international students only).

Please note that a termly late payment fee (£50) will be payable in the event of:-
• Payment not being settled by the due date.
