Newport is proud of its Association for Project Management Accredited Centre status. The MSc Project Management programme is the only MSc programme in Wales which is accredited by the Association for Project Management.

We work closely with businesses within the region and regularly hosts events such as networking breakfasts and dinners,the 'exchange @ newport'networking forum and also sponsors business events such as the’ Fast Growth 50’ which recognises the 50 fastest growing businesses in Wales. The teaching team is actively involved in research within the field of innovation, leadership, entrepreneurship and social capital, contributing to conferences and academic journals globally.

The Masters in Business Administration (MBA) is the flagship programme of the Management and Marketing division. An internationally recognised qualification, the MBA attracts students from all over the world. The programme has strong links with the Chartered Management Institute (CMI). The programme is the only MBA in Wales which is fully integrated with the Chartered Manager award. Students can, if they successfully fulfil the MBA programme requirements and CMI criteria, graduate with an MBA and an award of Chartered Manager.
