Since leaving the University of Wales Newport, I have gone on to achieve great things! My academic qualification enabled me to secure my position as a Youth Counsellor working with the Youth Activities of Disney Cruise Lines. We Do Si Do with Snow White, became a lost boy with Peter Pan, became Pirates in Training on Pirate Night amongst many more things. Whilst working for Disney Cruise Line my University Training not only set me up for the performance side but also video editing as we did a show where we get on stage with Minnie and Mickey and watch a video made up of photos and footage of the children and what they been doing during the duration of the cruise. With the knowledge that I gained in University I became responsible for filming and editing the footage for this performance.

In September 2011 I will be going on to further my career and have been accepted to do my PGCE with Masters credits in Central School of Speech and Drama, which would not have been possible without all the knowledge and experience that I gained whilst in University of Wales, Newport.

The University has set me to achieve great things since leaving there, I gained a first class honours degree and it gave me the grounding to achieve many more things since.
