Catrin DoyleWhilst studying documentary filmmaking at Newport Film School, Catrin made a number of award-winning films and had two films screened at the Sheffield International Documentary Festival. After graduating from the BA (Hons) Documentary Film & TV course with a first class degree, Catrin Doyle's Welsh language graduation film ANNWYL PLANT (Doyle 2009) was screened in Raindance Film Festival 2009, and exhibited in the Wales Millenium Centre alongside other Welsh artists in the prestigious Glamorgan University Arts Purchase Prize. This led to being offered opportunities to direct two short fiction films, both with the BBC Wales' talent scheme 'It's My Shout' and with Skillset Cymru. Catrin has contributed in front of the camera to gardening and young audience programmes for S4C, and also BBC Radio Cymru. Her passions for environmental issues have put her on news and debates programmes in Wales, as a spokesperson for the environmental movement. Catrin has worked as researcher and cameraperson for Presentable, and has pitched programme ideas with Cwmni Da and is currently working on programme proposals with Media TV. '
