I graduated from Cardiff University in 2001 with a degree in Psychology. Following a scriptwriting course at the Cardiff Centre for Lifelong Learning, I completed an MA in Film at Newport Film School. During the 15 month course I wrote and directed three shorts, two on 16mm film, and was selected to shoot the international collaboration Indian Boyo in India through Skillset Screen Academy Wales. Indian Boyo Short Film A further script, Calorie, was selected to be shot during the Film School 'Summer Lab' programme. My first feature, Avoiding Christian Bale, was shot in December 2008. Christian Bale is used in the film as rhyming slang for 'fail'. The film was actually made several months before the outburst on set. The Film is now titled, Big font. Large spacing. Big font.
