Education for Sustainable Development and Global Citizenship (ESDGC ) works to integrate environmental, economic, and social sustainability in a environment where these values become fundamental to the future development of higher education management and curricula.
Wales is one of only a few counties to have a government policy regarding Sustainable Development and Global Citizenship and has put forward an action plan to: make sustainable development and global citizenship a feature of whole school policy.
Studying this exciting subject will develop your understanding on a range of related issues - citizenship, human rights, children’s rights, sustainability as it relates to the school, the community and the wider world, the issues of poverty both local and global and the responses to such issues
