One of the key features of the programme is the engagement of a range of employers. By studying for a Foundation Degree in Law you gain an academic qualification in its own right and the opportunity to enhance work prospects.

This course, from Business School has been designed to make learning law more accessible and the emphasis is on producing graduates who can work in a range of legal settings. Having completed the Foundation Degree you may then choose to study for a ‘Top Up’ Degree in Law and Business or can apply to join a qualifying law degree course.
The programme not only includes key subjects within law such as Criminal Law, Family Law and The Law of Tort but also addresses work specific topics such as Legal Research, Legal Practice and Business and Legal Skills.  A Work Based Learning module is also a key element of the programme.
