Here at the University, we understand that student life is more than just the course in which you are studying.
As well as making sure our students meet their full potential through their studies, our job is also to ensure that we cater for all aspects of our students' life. We place paramount importance on providing a safe and fun environment to meet your social needs.
The Students' Union (SU) organises lots to entertain you regularly throughout the year including live band nights, comedy nights, karaoke, Bar FTSE and quiz nights. There are also more specialist nights such as metal and drum 'n' bass. The SU also has a range of clubs and societies that you can join. If there isn't a club or society that interests you, you can set up a new one!
If you’re a sporting person, the University has a state-of-the-art leisure facility which provides students with a full range of sporting, fitness and leisure experiences - catering from the total beginner through to the international athlete. The facilities include a sports hall, fitness suite, tennis and netball courts, rugby pitch and much more!
